Justice-Quebec.ca is now EnDroit.ca
Our citizen platform has a new name, but our mission, our team and our approach remain the same. You will find the same plain-language guides, the same commitment to mutual aid and the same team of engaged contributors — under a new identity that more clearly reflects who we are.
EnDroit.ca better reflects our commitment: making law accessible through plain language, offering an inclusive space for mutual aid, and supporting every citizen with transparency throughout their legal journey.
We thank everyone who followed us under our previous name, and we warmly welcome those discovering us today. The project is growing, the spirit stays the same.
An independent citizen-led platform that supports unrepresented Quebecers in navigating the justice system. With practical guides, AI tools, a team of engaged contributors and clear, accessible coverage of the realities citizens face.
— Maxime Gagné · Founder of EnDroit.ca
I created EnDroit.ca (formerly Justice-Quebec.ca) because, too often, people going through the justice system find themselves alone, overwhelmed, with no idea where to start. The information exists, but it is scattered, complex, and inaccessible for many.
As a neurodivergent person myself, I have been directly aware of the realities of those whom the system understands poorly. Thus, whether vulnerable individuals, isolated citizens, or atypical profiles facing institutions, I know their reality from the inside.
This site was born from a simple conviction: no one should have to face the justice system without understanding their rights, their remedies and the tools available to help them. Whether it is a difficult family situation, a conflict with a professional, a complaint to file or a process to undertake, everyone deserves access to clear information and human support.
Today, EnDroit.ca is much more than a website. It is a community of engaged contributors: social worker, domestic violence expert, family support team, lawyers active at the Barreau du Québec, university jurists, profiling and discrimination specialists, field workers, community organizations. Thus, these people combine their skills to offer guides, investigations, testimonies, trusted references and concrete support.
We do not pretend to have all the answers. However, we deeply believe that mutual aid, transparency and collaboration can make a real difference in the lives of those who feel helpless against the judicial machine.
Thank you to all those who are building this project with me. And thank you to you who read us. Therefore, it is for you that all this exists.
— Maxime Gagné · Founder · EnDroit.caInformation and mutual aid as levers for access to justice
The justice system is complex. For many citizens, it is a maze of rules, jargon and costly procedures. Thus, it is a world where it is easy to feel alone, overwhelmed and without bearings.
Our mission is to support vulnerable and unrepresented citizens by offering them the information, tools and contacts to understand their situation, act with confidence and assert their rights. Moreover, we believe that justice should not be a privilege reserved for those who can afford costly legal services.
Our approach now extends to essential new issues: questions of profiling and discrimination, complex family realities, domestic violence, police ethics, support for neurodivergent persons, and support for people navigating alone through demanding institutional processes.
Justice should not be a privilege reserved for those who can afford costly legal services.
An engaged and complementary team
EnDroit.ca is no longer a solo initiative. Thus, it is today a community of contributors who combine their skills in service of citizens.
Several lawyers in private practice, active members of the Barreau, contribute to our platform through their legal vulgarization articles and their presence on our Trust Page.
Jurists in training and university researchers bring academic rigor and depth of analysis to citizen justice issues.
Expertise dedicated to issues of racial and social profiling and situations of systemic discrimination, including contributors recognized at the national level.
Human support, listening and guidance for people in distress or in situations of vulnerability.
Specialized support for victims of domestic and family violence, and guidance toward appropriate resources.
Concrete support for families going through difficult judicial proceedings, in custody, separation or youth protection cases.
Several recognized organizations such as the Association québécoise du syndrome de la Tourette, the Mouvement Action Justice and Neuro Plus enrich our ecosystem of trusted resources.
These workers know the reality experienced by citizens and build bridges between resources and those who need them.

The professionals we recommend
Because access to justice also requires professionals with integrity, EnDroit.ca has created a page dedicated to trust and references. Thus, you will find our contributors, as well as the professionals we recommend with confidence: lawyers, notaries, intervenors, experts, who stand out for their integrity, humanity and professionalism.
This is a living page, built with rigor, designed to guide citizens toward reliable resources that respect their situation.
References carefully chosen, so every citizen can be supported by professionals they can trust.
A recognized platform
In just a few months, EnDroit.ca (formerly Justice-Quebec.ca) has become a citizen reference for legal information in Quebec. Thus, our audience includes journalists, university researchers, public institutions and legal professionals. Therefore, the platform has demonstrated that an independent citizen space, supported by a team of engaged contributors, can occupy a legitimate and useful place in the legal information landscape.
These are not just numbers. LinkedIn audience data reveals who follows our work: universities (Sherbrooke, Montréal, Laval, UQAM), the Quebec Ministry of Justice, the Barreau du Québec and its School, the Chambre des notaires, major law firms, Radio-Canada, Desjardins, government departments and public bodies. The institutions themselves read us.
The same model, new domains
EnDroit.ca is only the first stone. The same model — clear, free information built with the people of each field — now extends to other areas that affect citizens’ daily lives. Several platforms are already under construction.
Property from A to Z: buying, selling, housing, construction and renovation. For real estate agents, building inspectors, notaries and contractors.
Credit, debt, savings and taxation, explained simply. For accountants and financial advisors.
Home, auto, life, disability: understanding your contracts and your rights. For agents and brokers.
The natural extension of EnDroit.ca: family, childhood and parents’ rights.
Several other domain names have already been secured and will be deployed on the same model. Professionals and partners who wish to take part in building them can write to endroit.ca@outlook.com.
An independent citizen platform, driven by a team
EnDroit.ca is an independent citizen platform, created and managed by individuals, now supported by a team of engaged contributors. Our mission is to support unrepresented citizens and vulnerable persons navigating alone through the Quebec justice system. Thus, we guide them toward the resources, tools and trusted professionals suited to their situation. This site provides no legal advice: it is a practical guide and a space for mutual aid that shows how to use available tools, including generative artificial intelligence, to better understand your rights and procedures.
A question, an error to report or a testimony to share? Write to us at endroit.ca@outlook.com. Thus, we will read every message.
